Elise, a French artist based near Angers, in France, is a seamstress and an embroidery artist. Her embroidery work is based on historical women who give her inspiration. She tries to show in the most poetical and political way the beauty and the force of women. « The comptoir » means the counter. It’s a place to meet and to learn from new people.
